The original reference for the logo was an illustration in watercolour. We have chosen to create a different approach and propose a style with geometrical lines to create a simple minimal illustration.

OUR RESEARCH FINDINGS
Within our process we always start with research. We found some interesting insights about the industry.Gender is not a defining factor when it comes to who listens to podcasts, but age is.
From 2019 to 2021 the time spent by Canadians listening to podcasts has increased by +/- 10%, with over 70% of listeners playing episodes on a weekly basis.
Almost 1 out of 4 Canadian residents are immigrants. Currently, annual immigration in Canada amounts to around 300,000 new immigrants - one of the highest rates per population of any country in the world.
Canada is aiming to welcome 401,000 new immigrants each year beginning in 2021. Prior to COVID-19 this annual target was set at 341,000 newcomers. 75% of Canada’s population growth comes from immigration.
